Foliage Series

My Foliage series is an ongoing personal project drawing inspiration from the intricate accumulations of foliage and lichen found on my wanderings through the bush.

The images grow organically as I paint, ferns unfurling from the lichen that grounds them and mushrooms sprouting from beds of moss.

The paintings are watercolour and gouache on paper, framed in custom Wallace Studio organic frames.
